well, hopefully people start to see the other talents that you're able to create.. not just the fan art. i think that that is an easy way to get pageviews. i like to think that people really like what i am producing... and that keeps me motivated to post more work...
It's all people really like. No one cares for creativity anymore...
But I agree with Goatse, I draw for fun, I don't care who likes it or not.

to do fan art, you must be a "fan"; to be a fan, you must know something; to know ssomething, it must be very popular.
